| The find of the day was a Brown Booby at Dungeness Point in Kent. New rarities included a South Polar Skua off Kilcummin Head in County Mayo, Baird's Sandpipers in County Cork, Shetland and Argyll, a King Eider at Loch Fleet in Highland, and Lesser Yellowlegs at Chew Valley Lake and Steart WWT in Somerset. Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Solitary Sandpiper on Scilly, a Hooded Merganser in Suffolk, a Black Stork in Suffolk, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Kerry, further Baird's Sandpipers in Moray, the Western Isles, Glamorgan, Pembrokeshire and County Donegal, a Pallid Harrier in Shetland, a Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, and a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire. |
