| New rarities today were a Fea's Petrel off Corsewall Point in Dumfries and Galloway, a Western Bonelli's Warbler at Flamborough Head in East Yorkshire, Baird's Sandpipers in the Western Isles, County Cork, and Moray, a Citrine Wagtail in County Cork, a Red-rumped Swallow at Cape Clear in County Cork, and a Bonaparte's Gull in Glamorgan.
Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a Solitary Sandpiper in Scilly, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Kerry, further Baird's Sandpipers in Glamorgan, County Mayo, and County Wexford, a Pallid Harrier in Shetland, and an American Black Tern in Shetland. |
