  The find of the day was a Blackburnian Warbler on Dursey Island in County Cork.

New rarities today consisted of late news of a Brown Booby off Minsmere RSPB in Suffolk, a Pacific Diver at Unst in Shetland, a Red-footed Falcon at Hebburn in County Durham, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Dawlish Warren in Dorset, and new Baird's Sandpipers in County Cork and County Kerry.

Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, a Solitary Sandpiper in Scilly, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Black Stork in Suffolk, further Baird's Sandpipers in Moray, Shetland, the Western Isles, Glamorgan, County Mayo and County Wexford, a Pallid Harrier in Shetland, a King Eider in Shetland, a Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire, an American Black Tern in Shetland, and a Lesser Yellowlegs in Somerset.
