  New rarities today were a Baird's Sandpiper at Tacumshin in County Wexford, a Barolo Shearwater at Bridges of Ross in County Clare and Pendeen in Cornwall, and a Band-rumped Petrel sp also at Pendeen Watch in Cornwall.

Rarities included a Pallid Harrier in Shetland, Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk and Oxfordshire, a Bonaparte's Gull in Fife, a Blyth's Reed Warbler and Citrine Wagtail in Shetland, a further Citrine Wagtail in Scilly, a White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford and another in the Western Isles, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, an Elegant Tern and Baird's Sandpiper in County Kerry and County Wexford, a Greenish Warbler in Aberdeenshire, and a Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland.
