| New rarities today consisted of late news of an Eleonora's Falcon from the Isle of Man, and a very showy Red-footed Falcon at Lowestoft in Suffolk.
Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, an Elegant Tern in County Kerry, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Hooded Merganser in Suffolk, a Black Stork in Suffolk, Baird's Sandpipers in County Kerry, Shetland and County Wexford, a Spotted Sandpiper in County Dublin, a Pallid Harrier in Shetland, Ferruginous Ducks in Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire, Citrine Wagtails in Scilly and Shetland, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and a White-rumped Sandpiper in Suffolk. |
