  New rarities today consisted of a Greenish Warbler in Shetland at Toab, a Baird's Sandpiper at Shannon Airport in County Clare, a Franklin's Gull at Mudeford in Dorset, a Bonaparte's Gull at Anstruther in Fife, Ferruginous Ducks at Filby Broad in Norfolk and Wilstone Reservoir in Hertfordshire, a further Greenish Warbler at Spurn Point in East Yorkshire, a Barolo Shearwater in County Clare, a Western Bonelli's Warbler confirmed in County Waterford, a Fea's Petrel at Galley Head in County Cork, and a Baird's Sandpiper at Pool of Virkie in Shetland.

Rarities included a Black Stork in Suffolk, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, a Citrine Wagtail in Scilly, a Pacific Diver in Highland, a Pallid Harrier in Shetland, and a further Baird's Sandpiper in Pembrokeshire.
