| Discoveries today included a Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Dublin at North Bull Island, Greenish Warblers in Northumberland at Holy Island and in East Yorkshire at Easington, and in Shetland a King Eider at Hascosay Sound, and Blyth's Reed Warblers on both Fair Isle and Foula.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Long-tailed Shrike along the Gloucestershire/ Oxfordshire border, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Hudsonian Godwit, Black Stork, White-rumped Sandpiper, and three Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, White-throated Sparrow in Fife, Pacific Diver in Highland, Western Subalpine Warbler, Pallid Harrier, and Citrine Wagtail in Shetland, Baird's Sandpiper in Pembrokeshire, Spotted Sandpiper in County Dublin, Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford, and Ferruginous Ducks in both Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. |
