| Discoveries today included a Franklin's Gull in Dorset at Stanpit Marsh, a Red-rumped Swallow in Cumbria at Carlisle, a White-rumped Sandpiper in the Western Isles on South Uist, Citrine Wagtails in County Donegal on Arranmore and in Scilly on St Agnes, Greenish Warblers in Devon at Hope's Nose and in East Yorkshire at Buckton, and in Shetland a Subalpine Warbler species on Whalsay and a Blyth's Reed Warbler at Channerwick, Mainland.
Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Long-tailed Shrike along the Gloucestershire/ Oxfordshire border, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Hudsonian Godwit and White-rumped Sandpiper in Suffolk, Western Subalpine Warbler and Pallid Harrier in Shetland, Baird's Sandpiper in Pembrokeshire, Spotted Sandpiper in County Dublin, and White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford. |
