| The new rarities today were two Black Storks which flew over Chepstow in Gwent, and a Franklin's Gull at Nosterfield Quarry in North Yorkshire.
Rarities included a Bonaparte's Gull in Gloucestershire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Kent and East Yorkshire, White-winged Scoters in Lothian, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a Pacific Golden Plover in Lincolnshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, and an American Black Tern in Northumberland. |
