  The new rarity today was a White-rumped Sandpiper at Oare Marshes in Kent.

Rarities included a Blue-cheeked Bee-eater at Sanday in Orkney, White-rumped and Semipalmated Sandpipers at Ring Marsh in County Wexford, a White-rumped Sandpiper in County Cork, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in Orkney, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, White-winged Scoters in Lothian, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, and Bonaparte's Gulls in Aberdeenshire and Gloucestershire.
