The new rarity reports today were all of raptors. A Pallid Harrier was seen near John O'Groats in Highland, with it, or another, reported at Handa Island, also in Highland. A Black Kite was seen near Bala in Gwynedd and a second female Red-footed Falcon joined the female already present at Worth Marshes in Kent.

Other lingering rarities included Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Red-footed Falcons in Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in County Cork, Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, two White-winged Scoters in Fife, King Eider in Highland, Iberian Chiffchaffs in Dorset and County Durham and Great Reed Warbler in Staffordshire.
