  New rarities today consisted of a Red-rumped Swallow at Titchfield Haven in Hampshire, Red-footed Falcons at Romsey in Hampshire and at Paxton Pits in Cambridgeshire, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Misson in Nottinghamshire, an Alpine Swift at Pendeen in Cornwall, Black Kites at Otmoor in Oxfordshire and at Sennen in Cornwall, a Whiskered Tern at Pett Level in East Sussex, and a Subalpine Warbler at Calf of Man on the Isle of Man.

Rarities included Red-footed Falcons in North Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a White-winged Scoter in Fife, a King Eider in Highland, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset, a Lesser Yellowlegs in Nottinghamshire, and an American Coot in County Wexford.
