  New rarities today consisted of a Great Reed Warbler at Belvide Resr in Staffordshire, a Tawny Pipit at Waxham in Norfolk, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler on Skomer Island in Pembrokeshire, Black Kite at Otmoor in Oxfordshire, and Red-footed Falcons in Hamphire, North Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire.

Rarities included Spotted Sandpipers in East Sussex, an Elegant Tern in County Galway, an Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Dorset, and a Bonaparte's Gull in County Donegal.
