Sunday 3rd May 2026  
  The new rarities today included two Spotted Sandpipers near Piddinghoe in East Sussex, an adult Ross's Gull at Thurrock Thameside Nature Park in Essex, a 1st summer Bonaparte's Gull at Crossness in Greater London, a Red-footed Falcon at Sandwich Bay in Kent, a Red-rumped Swallow at RSPB Old Moor in South Yorkshire and a Lesser Yellowlegs at Newton Marsh in Lancashire.

Continuing rarities today included Stejneger's Scoter and White-winged Scoter in Fife, Marsh Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall and Dorset, Elegant Tern in County Galway, Iberian Chiffchaff in Suffolk, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk and Lesser Kestrel in Cornwall.
