Monday 4th May 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of a Kentish Plover at Broom Gravel Pits in Bedfordshire, a Red-footed Falcon at Carlton Marshes in Suffolk, Red-rumped Swallows at Wintersett Reservoir in West Yorkshire and at Cley in Norfolk, a Bonaparte's Gull at Lough Swilly in County Donegal, and an Iberian Chiffchaff at Dungeness in Kent.

Rarities included two Spotted Sandpipers in East Sussex, Lesser Kestrel in Cornwall, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham and Suffolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, an Elegant Tern in County Galway, a Pacific Diver in County Mayo, and a Lesser Scaup yesterday in Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire.
