| New rarities today consisted of a Whiskered Tern at Walmsley Sanctuary, Cornwall, Tawny Pipit at Landguard NR, Suffolk, Black Kites at Liston, Essex, Hintlesham and Glemsford, Suffolk, and at Poole Harbour, Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull at Weymouth, Dorset, and Olive-backed Pipit at Fair Isle, Shetland.
Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and County Antrim, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Iberian Chiffchaffs in Suffolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, King Eider in Shetland, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, Marsh Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, and Elegant Tern in County Galway. |
