  The new rarity today was a Black Kite at Manby, Lincolnshire.

Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham, Suffolk, and the Western Isles, King Eider in Highland and Shetland, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall and Dorset, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, Marsh Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Forster's Tern in Dorset, and Elegant Tern in County Galway.
