| The new rarities today were a Marsh Sandpiper at Boldon Flats, County Durham, Blue-winged Teal at Abbotsbury Swannery in Dorset, Alpine Swift at Dinas Cross in Pembrokeshire, and Bonaparte's Gull at Cahore Marsh in County Wexford.
Continuing rarities included the American Bittern in County Cork, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, American Coot in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Denbighshire and County Antrim, Hume's Warbler in Warwickshire and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall. |
