  The new rarity today was an adult male Pallid Harrier seen flying north over Foulshaw Moss in Cumbria.

Continuing rarities included the American Bittern in County Cork, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Black Scoter in County Kerry, King Eider in Highland, Lesser Scaup in Worcestershire (2), Buckinghamshire and County Wexford, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Dumfries and Galloway, Pacific Diver in County Clare, American Coot in County Wexford, Killdeer in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs in Denbighshire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, Bonaparte's Gull Lancashire and Cornwall, Hume's Warbler in Warwickshire and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall.
