  The new rarity today was a Bonaparte's Gull at Ardivachar on South Uist, Western Isles.

Continuing rarities included Redhead in County Kerry, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Canvasback in Essex, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in Worcestershire, Essex and County Wexford, Ferruginous Duck in County Tyrone, Ross's Goose in Argyll, Pacific Diver in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall (2), Devon and County Antrim, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Hume's Warbler in Warwickshire and Suffolk and Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent.
