| The new rarities today were a drake Canvasback at Abberton Reservoir in Essex, a Bonaparte's Gull on the Plym Estuary in Devon and a female Lesser Scaup at Lough Neagh in County Armagh.
Continuing rarities included Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Black Scoter in County Kerry, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Lesser Scaup in Essex, Worcestershire (2) and County Wexford, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Norfolk and County Tyrone, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Donegal (2), Pacific Diver in County Donegal, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Lesser Yellowlegs in Denbighshire, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall (2) and Hume's Warbler in Warwickshire and Suffolk. |
