  A Siberian Rubythroat made a brief appearance at Norwick, Unst, Shetland today. Other new discoveries included a male Baikal Teal at Abbotsbury, Dorset, a Lesser Scaup at Abberton Reservoir, Essex and a Siberian Stonechat on Stronsay, Orkney. New Pallid Swifts were found on Tresco, Scilly, Dawlish Warren, Devon (two), Carregwastad Point, Pembrokeshire, Sand Point, Somerset and Horsey and Cromer, both Norfolk, and new Dusky Warblers were at Foreness Point, Kent, Aylestone, Leicestershire, Blakeney Point, Norfolk, Flamborough, Yorkshire, Holy Island, Northumberland and Fair Isle, Shetland.

Lingering rarities included the Black-faced Bunting in Shetland, Daurian Shrike in County Wexford, three Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, Radde's Warbler in Orkney, Dusky Warbler in Shetland, Pallid Swift in Kent, Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Derry, Lesser Yellowlegs in Anglesey, another Lesser Yellowlegs and two Lesser Scaups in Cornwall, another Lesser Scaup in Northamptonshire and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Cumbria.
