  Mega highlights consisted of a Siberian Rubythroat trapped and ringed on North Ronaldsay, Orkney.

Continuing rarities included Steppe Grey Shrike on Shetland, Hume's Warbler on Shetland. Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Isabelline Shrike sp. in West Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Co. Antrim, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, White-rumped Sandpipers in Staffordshire, Co. Derry, and Angus, Lesser Scaup in Northants, Northern Harrier in Co. Wexford, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Bonaparte's Gull in Co. Antrim, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, and Baikal Teal in Dorset.
