| New discoveries today included a Hume's Warbler at Sandwick, Shetland, a Lesser Scaup at Ditchford, Northamptonshire and a Ferruginous Duck at Brampton, Cambridgeshire.
Lingering rarities included the Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Isabelline Shrike species in Sussex, Steppe Grey Shrike in Shetland, American Pipit in Scilly, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Long-billed Dowitcher and two White-rumped Sandpipers in Angus, three more of the latter in County Derry and one in Staffordshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Northern Harrier in County Wexford and single Pallid Harriers in Pembrokeshire and Glamorgan. |
