| The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Isabelline Shrike species in West Sussex at Henfield. Elsewhere in Britain an American Pipit remained in the Isles of Scilly, Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, Dusky Warbler and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Angus and Orkney, Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire, and White-rumped Sandpipers in Merseyside and Staffordshire.
In Ireland a Northern Harrier was new in County Wexford at Cahore with a further Northern Harrier, Semipalmated Sandpiper, and three White-rumped Sandpipers nearby at Tacumshin, the Harlequin Duck was still in County Donegal, Pacific Diver still in County Cork, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Donegal and County Londonderry (3), Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim and County Louth, and a Bonaparte's Gull still in County Antrim. |
