| New rarities included a Lesser Scaup at Pennington Flash, Greater Manchester, Lesser Yellowlegs at Rue Point, Rathlin Island, Co. Antrim, Semipalmated Sandpiper at Cashen Estuary, Co. Kerry, Black Scoter at Peffer Sands, Lothian, and Rustic Bunting at Kynance Cove, The Lizard, Cornwall.
Continuing rarities included a Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, American Pipit in Scilly, White-rumped Sandpipers in Staffordshire, Co. Derry, and Co. Wexford, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Co. Louth, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Co. Wexford, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll and Co. Sligo, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, and Ferruginous Duck in Lincolnshire. Late News included a Bonaparte's Gull at Big Sand, Loch Gairloch, Highland. |
