  In Aberdeenshire, the White-throated Needletail was reported at Loch of Strathbeg RSPB briefly. In Orkney, a Black-throated Thrush and a Radde's Warbler were trapped on North Ronaldsay, a Paddyfield Warbler was found on Fair Isle, Shetland, a Bonaparte's Gull was at Loch Gairloch, Highland and a Ferruginous Duck was at Langtoft, Lincolnshire, whilst a Fea's Petrel species flew past a boat off Cornwall.

Lingering rarities included the Isabelline Wheatear, Olive-backed Pipit and Hornemann's Redpoll in Shetland, American Pipits in Scilly and County Galway, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, three White-rumped Sandpipers in County Derry and one in Staffordshire, Pacific Diver in County Cork and Bonaparte's Gulls in Northumberland and County Antrim.
