| New rarities included a Brown Shrike at Upper Hollesley Common, Suffolk, Pallid Swift at Long Nab near Burniston, North Yorkshire, and a Dusky Warbler at Caerthillian Cove on The Lizard, Cornwall.
Continuing rarities included Black-faced Bunting in East Yorkshire, Steppe Grey Shrike in Cornwall, Eyebrowed Thrush in Scilly, Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Black Scoter in Northumberland, White-rumped Sandpiper in Staffordshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in Co. Derry, White-rumped Sandpiper in Co. Wexford, White-rumped Sandpiper at Afon Cefni near Malltraeth, Anglesey, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, American Pipit in Scilly, Baikal Teal in Dorset, Northern Harriers in Co. Wexford, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Bonaparte's Gull in Co. Antrim, Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, Long-billed Dowitcher at Tacumshin, Co. Wexford, White-rumped Sandpipers at Sruhill Lough on Achill Island, Co. Mayo, and Eastern Nightingale (form golzii) in Aberdeenshire. Late News included a Red-eyed Vireo at Eoropie near Butt of Lewis, Western Isles from 12th October. |
