Monday 1st September 2025  
  Discoveries today included a Stilt Sandpiper in County Wicklow at Broad Lough, and a White-rumped Sandpiper in Northumberland at East Chevington, whilst seawatching produced a Fea's Petrel species in Cornwall passing Trevose Head, and at least one Scopoli's Shearwater at sea off the Isles of Scilly.

Elsewhere the Forster's Tern returned to Poole Harbour, Dorset, a Zitting Cisticola and the Black Stork both remained in Suffolk, as did the Greenish Warbler in County Donegal, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Yellowlegs in Carmarthenshire, Black Kite in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Kerry and East Yorkshire, two Lesser Scaups together in Staffordshire, and two Ferruginous Ducks together in Norfolk.
