  New discoveries today included a Pallid Swift at Carrahane, County Kerry, two Ferruginous Ducks at Filby Broad, Norfolk and a White-rumped Sandpiper at Hornsea Mere, Yorkshire.

Lingering rairities included six Zitting Cisticolas and the Black Stork in Suffolk, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Greenish Warblers in County Donegal and Orkney, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, two Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and one in Greater Manchester, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Wexford and Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegb in Carmarthenshire, Black Kite in Cornwall and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.
