  The new rarity today was a White-billed Diver found at Kennacraig, Argyll.

Long staying rarities included the Booted Eagle in Cornwall, Least Sandpiper and Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and County Wexford, Canvasback in Essex, American Coot, Bufflehead and Ross's Goose in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Perthshire(3), County Wexford, Essex, County Westmeath and Derbyshire, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire.
