  A Bonaparte's Gull was found at Black Rock Strand in County Kerry.

Long staying rarities included the Booted Eagle and Pacific Diver in Cornwall, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Least Sandpiper and Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and County Wexford, White-winged Scoters in Lothian and Fife, Bufflehead and Ross's Goose in Shetland, Lesser Scaups in Dorset, County Wexford (two) and Derbyshire, Red-breasted Goose in Argyll, American Pipit in Northumberland and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.
