  Outstanding news this evening of a Scarlet Tanager present in West Yorkshire today at Shelf where it has been watched for several days.

Discoveries elsewhere included a Hume's Warbler in Cornwall at Portheras, Lesser Scaup in Cambridgeshire at Bluntisham, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford at Cahore Marsh, and a White-billed Diver on Shetland Isles at Sumburgh Head, Mainland.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Pied Wheatear in East Sussex, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Pacific Diver in County Clare, Penduline Tit in Cheshire, Eastern Stonechat species in Suffolk, Dusky Warbler and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall, Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper in Devon, Ferruginous Ducks in both London and Warwickshire (2), Lesser Scaups in Devon, County Donegal, Fife, and Staffordshire, and the Kentish Plover returned to winter at Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.
