  Discoveries today included a Pied Wheatear in Sussex at Seaford Head, a Penduline Tit in Cheshire at Woolston Eyes, White-billed Diver in Western Isles at Butt of Lewis, a Pallid Swift in Argyll at Coullabus, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall at Skewjack Farm, and in County Clare, a Pacific Diver at Black Head, County Clare.

Elsewhere, lingering rarities included the probable Amur Stonechat in Suffolk, Ferruginous Ducks in London, Lincolnshire and Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon, Staffordshire and Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in Orkney and Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, Pallid Harrier in Devon, Rough-legged Buzzard in Cornwall, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, and Eyebrowed Thrush in Orkney.
