| The headline birds were, once again, on North Ronaldsay in Orkney, with a Brown Booby off Seal Skerry and a Red-throated Pipit over Nether Linnay.
Elsewhere, lingering rarities included the probable Amur Stonechat in Suffolk, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Ferruginous Ducks in London and Warwickshire, Lesser Scaups in County Wexford (two), Staffordshire and Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Cork and Norfolk, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, White-rumped Sandpipers in Devon, Gloucestershire and Western Isles (two), Pallid Harriers in Devon and Norfolk and Bonaparte's Gull in Highland. |
