Saturday 26th October 2024  
  Bird of the day was Black-faced Bunting, with three present. The bird in Lincolnshire was still present at Donna Nook, trapped and ringed mid morning then seen several times subsequently. Another was trapped at Oxwich, Glamorgan (but wasn't seen after release), and a third remained for its eighth day on North Ronaldsay, Orkney.

A Red-eyed Vireo was found at Holyhead, Anglesey, with other new discoveries including an American Pipit at Reawick, Shetland, a Hume's Warbler at Ventnor, Isle of Wight, Dusky Warblers at Mizen Head, County Cork and Hook Head, County Wexford, two White-rumped Sandpipers at Loch Paible, Western Isles and a further two White-rumped Sandpipers and a Blue-winged Teal at Tacumshin, County Wexford.
