| Discoveries today consisted of a Black-faced Bunting at Donna Nook in Lincolnshire, in Norfolk two Penduline Tits were found at Weybourne, a Dusky Warbler at Trimingham, and a Bonaparte's Gull flew south over Hempstead. Further afield two White-rumped Sandpipers were found in the Western Isles on Barra, Lesser Scaups at Roscommon, County Roscommon, and Cahore(2), County Wexford, and Red-throated Pipit in Portland, Dorset.
Continuing rarities comprised the Black-faced Bunting still on the Orkney Isles, White-winged Scoter in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Norfolk, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland and County Galway, Isabelline Shrike species in Dorset, Red-flanked Bluetail in East Yorkshire, Desert Wheatear in Sussex, Booted Warbler in Orkney, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon, Orkney, and Norfolk, and Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and County Wexford. |
