  Discoveries today included a Desert Wheatear in East Sussex at Beachy Head, a Kentish Plover in Norfolk at Holme, Red-rumped Swallows in Aberdeenshire at Collieston and Donmouth and Highland at Cromarty (3), Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland at Bamburgh, Cackling Goose on the Shetland Isles at Loch of Spiggie, Lesser Scaup in County Londonderry at Lough Beg, White-billed Diver in Highland at Brora, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire at Hesketh Out Marsh, and now two together on Tresco, Isles of Scilly .

Continuing rarities comprised the Black-faced Bunting still on the Orkney Isles, Canvasback in Essex, White-winged Scoter in Northumberland, Isabelline Shrike species in Dorset, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Cork, Red-flanked Bluetail in East Yorkshire, Olive-backed Pipit on Shetland, Dusky Warblers in County Cork and County Waterford, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper on the Western Isles, Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo, and Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and County Wexford.
