  Discoveries today included four Scopoli's Shearwaters c5mls SW of St.Mary's, Scilly, Lesser Yellowlegs at Buckenham Marshes, Norfolk, Olive-backed Pipit on Inishmore, County Galway, Red-rumped Swallow at Spurn, East Yorkshire, and a Dusky Warbler on Papa Westray, Orkney.

Continuing rarities comprised the Black-faced Bunting still on the Orkney Isles, White-winged Scoter and Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs on Scilly and in Lancashire, Olive-backed Pipit in Shetland, Red-breasted Goose in Argyll, Isabelline Shrike species in Dorset, Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire, Red-flanked Bluetail in East Yorkshire, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Pembrokeshire, Spotted Sandpiper in Fife, Long-billed Dowitchers in Devon and Norfolk, and Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire and County Derry.
