  In County Wexford, there was late news of a Northern Harrier in Tacumshin, whilst in Shetland an Isabelline Shrike sp was discovered on Foula, and an Eastern Stonechat at Bakkasetter. Other new discoveries included an Arctic Warbler and two American Buff-bellied Pipits on St Kilda, Western Isles, two Arctic Warblers and a Black Kite on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, Greenish Warbler at Saltburn, Cleveland, Lesser Grey Shrike in Essex at Tollesbury, an Eastern Stonechat in Lothian at North Berwick, Pallid Harrier at Warham Greens, Norfolk, and a Western Bonelli's Warbler at Dungeness in Kent.

Lingering rarities included the Whiskered Tern in County Derry, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, two Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire, two Black Kites in Shetland, two Red-footed Falcons in Cleveland and Kent, Eastern Stonechat in Norfolk, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Western Isles, Dusky Warbler in East Yorkshire, Arctic Warbler in Shetland, Dusky Warbler at Spurn, East Yorkshire, Red-footed Falcon in Kent and Cleveland, and Wilson's Phalarope at Old Hall Marshes in Essex.
