  In Norfolk, a Red-flanked Bluetail was found in Waxham, whilst in Cleveland a Squacco Heron was reported at Saltholme RSPB. A Black Kite lingered around Quendale, Shetland, and other new discoveries included a Eastern Stonechat at Fair Isle, Shetland (where the Tennessee Warbler remained), a Tawny Pipit at Abbotsbury, Dorset, and a Greenish Warbler at Dunbar, Lothian.

Other lingering rarities included the Steppe Grey Shrike in Lothian, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Western Isles, Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire(2) and Warwickshire, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Western Isles, Black Kite in Shetland, and Red-footed Falcon in Kent.
