| In Yorkshire, a Fea's Petrel species flew north past Spurn this morning, whilst in Kent a Brown Booby was off the Foreness Point /North Foreland area. An Arctic Warbler was trapped on Fair Isle, Shetland (where the Tennessee Warbler remained), and other new discoveries included a Black Stork at Lough Gill, County Kerry, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Ferrybank, County Wexford and a Red-breasted Goose at Lisselan, County Waterford.
Other lingering rarities included the Steppe Grey Shrike in Lothian, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Western Isles, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire, Lesser Scaups in Somerset and Staffordshire, two Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire and Red-footed Falcon in Kent. |
