  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Whiskered Tern in County Londonderry at Lough Beg, whilst a Bonaparte's Gull was new in County Wexford at Nethertown and a Pallid Harrier arrived on Skokholm, Pembrokeshire.

Continuing rarities were the Tennessee Warbler on the Shetland Isles, Steppe Grey Shrike in Lothian, Blue-winged Teal and Eastern Stonechat species in East Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Devon and the Orkney Isles, Red-footed Falcon in Kent, Black-winged Stilt in Cambridgeshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.
