Monday 9th September 2024  
  A Scopoli's Shearwater flew past Bridges of Ross, County Clare, as did a Fea's Petrel species at Strathy Point, Highland. Other new discoveries included a Long-billed Dowitcher at Martin Mere, Lancashire, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Adwick Washlands, Yorkshire and a Red-footed Falcon at Kilnsea, Yorkshire.

Lingering rarities included the Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, three Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire and one in Cambridgeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Booted Warbler in Orkney, Greenish Warblers in County Durham and Lothian and Pallid Harrier in Cleveland.
