Tuesday 10th September 2024  
  A Swainson's Thrush was found on St.Kilda, Western Isles today, a South Polar Skua at Brandon Bay, County Kerry, and two Fea's Petrel species flew past Kilcummin Head, County Mayo, one also flew past Anderby Creek, Lincolnshire. Other new discoveries included a Steppe Grey Shrike at Dunbar, Lothian, and a Pallid Harrier at Portland Bill, Dorset.

Lingering rarities included the Brown Booby briefly in Kent, Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire, Booted Warbler in Orkney, Greenish Warbler in County Durham, and Lesser Yellowlegs in South Yorkshire.
