Sunday 8th September 2024  
  A Brown Booby flew past Sandwich Bay, Kent. Other new discoveries included a Booted Warbler on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, a Greenish Warbler at Flamborough, Yorkshire, a Lesser Yellowlegs at St Aidan's RSPB, Yorkshire, a Long-billed Dowitcher at The Cull, County Wexford and two Ferruginous Ducks at Shawell, Leicestershire.

Lingering rarities included the Canvasback in Essex, two Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, Wilson's Phalarope in Merseyside, Dusky Warbler in Orkney, Greenish Warbler in Lothian and Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire.
