  The highlight of the day was a Little Crake was found at Cotswold Water Park in Wiltshire, three Blyth's Reed Warblers, two at Valyie in Shetland, and one at Flamborough in East Yorkshire, a Baird's Sandpiper at Ferrybridge in Dorset, four Greenish Warblers, one at Tarbat Ness in Highland, one at Tynemouth in Northumberland, and two in Lothian, one at Skateraw, the other at Thorntonloch, a Red-flanked Bluetail at Holme NOA in Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper at Saltholme in Cleveland, White-billed Diver flew past Skaw, Shetland, a Tawny Pipit flew over Corton in Suffolk and a Dusky Warbler at North Ronaldsay, Orkney.

Lingering rarities included the Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Wilson's Phal in Lancashire, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Down and Orkney, Blue-winged Teal and Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, and a Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian.
