Today's easterly winds in southern England did not bring as much excitement as some had thought they might, but seawatching produced a White-billed Diver flying north up the Suffolk coast, with another past Fife Ness in Fife.

The Hudsonian Godwit put in another appearance on the Dee Estuary in Flintshire and the Stilt Sandpiper was still to be found at Kilnsea in East Yorkshire. Other lingering rarities included the Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Buckinghamshire, Blue-winged Teal in Yorkshire, White-rumped Sandpipers in both Norfolk and County Dublin, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Cornwall, Black-headed Bunting, Greenish Warbler and Citrine Wagtail in Shetland, with a further Citrine Wagtail still in County Wexford.
