Sunday 1st September 2024  
  The highlight of the day was a significant fall of drift migrants on the Engligh east coast including a Thrush Nightingale in Norfolk at Blakeney Point, and Greenish Warblers in Norfolk (Holme Dunes and Sea Palling), East Yorkshire (Flamborough Head), and North Yorkshire (Whitby).

Discoveries elsewhere comprised a Tawny Pipit briefly in Somerset at Burnham-on-Sea, a Long-billed Dowitcher in County Down at Quoile Pondage, a Red-footed Falcon in County Donegal at Rinnasligo, a Black Kite briefly in Perth and Kinross at Dunning, and a White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire at Banff.

Continuing rarities comprised the Hudsonian Godwit still in Flintshire, Canvasback in Essex, two Semipalmated Sandpipers in Cornwall, Citrine Wagtail and Greenish Warbler both on the Shetland Isles, White-rumped Sandpipers in County Dublin and Norfolk (2), and Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire.
