| A pelagic trip off the Isles of Scilly produced another sighting of South Polar Skua this evening, south west of Bishop Rock, whilst the east coast saw a smart Stilt Sandpiper found at Beacon Ponds, Kilnsea, and on the Northern Isles a Great Snipe was seen on North Ronaldsay, Orkney, and a Greenish Warbler was on Unst in the Shetlands.
Lingering rarities included Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, Canvasback in Essex, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, two White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk, Gull-billed Tern on The Scillies, Citrine Wagtails on Shetland and in County Wexford and Black-headed Bunting in Shetland. |
